Leatt Flowtour 5.5 Jacket
After trying a number of adventure jackets over the years, the Leatt 5.5 FlowTour has become my go-to riding jacket. Living in South Africa, where most of our riding is done in warm conditions and our winters are relatively mild, airflow is a priority. The large mesh panels provide excellent ventilation while still offering reassuring protection with CE Level 2 armour and good abrasion resistance. One of my favourite features is the integrated hydration bladder pocket. It means I can carry water inside the jacket instead of wearing a hydration backpack, reducing weight on my shoulders while keeping my back free for airflow. The included waterproof rain jacket is also genuinely useful rather than feeling like an afterthought, making the FlowTour a versatile jacket for everything from weekend rides to multi-day adventures.
