1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using MyAdvLife ("the Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please don’t use the Platform.

2. Who can use MyAdvLife

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the ride reports, photos, GPX routes, and other content you upload. By posting it you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, display and share it on the Platform in line with the visibility settings you choose (public, friends, or private). You’re responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to post it.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t post anything unlawful, misleading, offensive, or that infringes someone else’s rights, and don’t misuse the Platform (spam, scraping, attempting to break security, or interfering with other riders). We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these terms.

5. Ride information & safety

Routes, GPX tracks, grades, maps and other ride information are shared by riders for general interest and are not a guarantee of road, trail or weather conditions. Adventure motorcycling carries inherent risk. You ride entirely at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety, your machine, your licensing, and for assessing conditions before and during any ride. Always ride within your ability and the law.

6. Third-party services

The Platform uses third-party services such as mapping and place data (e.g. Google), map tiles (OpenStreetMap) and analytics. Your use of features that rely on them may also be subject to those providers’ terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Platform’s name, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission. Rider content remains the property of the riders who posted it.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the Platform running smoothly but provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Platform or reliance on any ride information shared on it, including any incident, injury or loss occurring on a ride.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. On deletion, your content is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date on the page; continued use means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
