MyAdvLife is a free community platform for adventure motorcyclists. Riders document their rides for good — GPX route, story, photos and the exact bike/gear setup used — plan new rides with friends, share GPX routes, and connect with other riders. No more losing epic rides in a WhatsApp scroll.

Yes — that is the heart of the platform. Create a ride report with your write-up, up to 8 photos, one or more GPX tracks (distance, elevation and the route map are calculated automatically), the bike, gear and luggage you used, plus meet point, food stop and accommodation pins. Your rides are stored permanently and are searchable years later.

Yes. The built-in Route Planner lets you click waypoints on the map and the route snaps to roads and gravel automatically, with a live distance, climb and elevation profile. Choose the Adventure routing style to favour gravel and tracks, use Out-and-back to mirror a loop home, then save the route to the Route Library as a GPX. You can also plan full rides — date, meet point, food stop, accommodation, invites and RSVPs — in the Ride Planner.

Yes. Every route and ride on MyAdvLife can be downloaded as a standard GPX file, which imports directly into OsmAnd, DMD2, Garmin devices, Gaia, Calimoto and virtually any navigation app. The reverse also works: record your ride in any app, export the GPX, and upload it to your MyAdvLife ride report or the Route Library.

A shared bank of adventure-riding GPX routes uploaded by the community, searchable by name, country and region, and browsable on a map. View any route, download its GPX, or hit "Plan a ride from this" to start a planned ride seeded with that track.

Create a planned ride with a date, meet point, food stop and accommodation (searched via Google Places, shown on the map), attach a GPX route, and invite friends individually or as a whole list. Invitees RSVP, everyone gets a weather forecast for the day, a reminder email goes out three days before, and each ride has its own tickable packing list. Afterwards, one tap converts the plan into a ride report.

Yes — signing up and using MyAdvLife is free.

No. You appear everywhere by your @handle only — your real name stays private on your account. You control your profile visibility, and every ride can be set to Public, Friends-only or Private.

You choose per item: Public (everyone), Friends (only riders you have connected with), or Private (just you). Photos and GPX files follow the same visibility as the ride they belong to.

A rider score that grows with everything you contribute: ride reports, shared routes, distance ridden, countries visited, planned rides, bucket-list ticks, maintenance logs and your garage. Your total earns a rank — Rookie, Weekend Warrior, Seasoned, Veteran or Legend — shown on your profile and the Community page.

Every ride can carry a Surface grade (S1 smooth tar to S5 technical off-road) and a Difficulty grade (D1 easy to D5 expert), so riders instantly know if a route suits their bike and skill level. The full grade guide is on the Feed.

Yes — the Garage stores your bikes (with photos), riding gear configurations, luggage, tech, camping kit and navigation setup, plus a maintenance log and tyre history per bike. Ride reports can then reference the exact setup you used on the day.

Yes — every ride, route and planned ride has a WhatsApp share button that pre-fills a rich message, and public routes and rides generate a preview card showing the route line, distance and details right in the chat.

Yes — the site is fully mobile and installable as an app: open myadvlife.com in your phone browser and choose "Add to Home Screen" for a full-screen app experience.
