SP Connect Wireless Phone Charger

★★★★★ SP Connect Wireless Phone Charger

There are plenty of phone mounting systems on the market, but for me the choice wasn't just about keeping my phone attached to the handlebars. It was about making my phone an integral part of my adventure riding setup. My phone has become one of the most important pieces of equipment I carry. It handles navigation through DMD2, connects to my Cardo Freecom 4X for music and communication, serves as my camera for photos and videos, and gives me access to weather, messages and emergency contacts. The last thing I wanted was to worry about battery life halfway through a ride. That is what led me to the SP Connect Wireless Charger and Anti Vibration Module. The wireless charger keeps my phone fully charged throughout the day, even when using DMD2, Bluetooth and the screen at full brightness. Because I wired it directly into the KTM's switched accessory connector, it powers up and shuts down with the ignition. There are no cables hanging around the handlebars and no risk of accidentally leaving it powered when the bike is parked. An added bonus is that the bike's USB port remains available for charging other devices such as an action camera, communicator or power bank. The anti vibration module was another easy decision. Modern smartphone cameras contain delicate optical image stabilisation components that can be damaged by prolonged exposure to motorcycle vibrations. Replacing a flagship smartphone camera costs far more than the vibration module, so fitting it felt like cheap insurance. One of the unexpected benefits has been how quickly I can access my phone. Whether I want to stop for a photograph, capture a short video or check a route, the phone locks securely into place and can be removed in seconds. Like many of the upgrades on my KTM, this one isn't particularly exciting. It simply works, day after day, allowing me to focus on the ride rather than worrying about flat batteries or damaged cameras. For me, this is one of those accessories that quietly proves its value every time I ride. My phone is always charged, always secure and always ready to navigate, play music or capture a memorable moment. The anti vibration module provides valuable peace of mind, and the clean installation means everything simply works in the background. Sometimes the best accessories aren't the ones that transform your motorcycle. They're the ones you stop thinking about because they perform their job so well. The SP Connect system is exactly that.
