If there's one piece of riding gear where I believe you should never compromise, it's boots. After owning Alpinestars Tech 7s, Leatt 5.5 Enduro boots and several others, the Gaerne SG-12s stand out as the benchmark for off-road protection. Yes, they're expensive, but they're worth every cent. The support and protection they provide inspire confidence on technical terrain, while still offering enough comfort for long adventure rides. Once broken in, they're surprisingly comfortable, and the build quality is exceptional. These are boots designed to last for years rather than seasons.
